We're all familiar with the final chase that occurs at the end of The Chase.
One of the Chasers goes up against however many contestants are left, trying to answer as many questions as possible to catch them, empty their prize fund, and send them off home with nothing.
During this particular episode, Chaser Anne Hegarty, or the Governess, was up against Peter and Warjinder who had secured an impressive £60,000 in their prize fund.
As the clock counted down and with a mere few seconds to spare, it looked as if the Governess wasn't going to be able to catch them.
However, viewers noticed something a little odd about the speed at which the clock was counting down... and more specifically, the length of the final second.
Basically, it went on for a long time giving the Chaser more time to answer.

Viewers didn't keep their "fix" theory to themselves either, they spread it all over Twitter.
Fair play.
