Cher’s releasing a Mamma Mia! cover album and oh my god

Sorry can you imagine the absolute bangers to come out of this?

Everybody likes Cher and everybody likes Cher's music and if you don't you're pretty much a liar to be honest. She's probably the only reason why any of us would even bother to go see the new Mamma Mia! movie... apart from Meryl Streep, obviously. Imagine how enthralled, how excited, how totally and utterly delighted we were then to hear that Cher is going to be releasing her own album of Mamma Mia! covers including all the banging hits like Gimme Gimme Gimme, Dancing Queen, and SOS.  Honestly like. Just banger after banger. Cher said she wanted to release the album because she really likes Abba. And because it's good promo for the recent release of the film, no doubt. The iconic singer said:

"I've always liked Abba and saw the original Mamma Mia musical on Broadway three times. "After filming Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again, I was reminded again of what great and timeless songs they wrote and started thinking 'why not do an album of their music?' "The songs were harder to sing than I imagined but I'm so happy with how the music came out. I'm really excited for people to hear it. It's a perfect time.”

The perfect time, indeed. The album, aptly called Dancing Queen, will be released on September 28.
