Ouch.
Cheryl returned to The X Factor stage last night to perform her brand new song, Love Made Me Do It.
Yes, it was the singer’s first performance in four years so naturally X Factor producers hyped the absolute s**t out of it.
Cheryl took to the stage in a similar look to that from the music video and performed in front of the new judging panel; Simon Cowell, Louis Tomlinson, Ayda Field, and Nile Rodgers.
However, the viewers weren’t too impressed by her return to the stage, taking to Twitter to rubbish the performance.
Cheryl honey, u know I love you long time but what was THAT?? ??? You should of just mimed boo… Amazing pop song though!! #XFactor #ShesStillARideThough

Yep, it was fairly brutal.
Cheryl was said to have spent the last week rehearsing for the performance, with X Factor bosses worried it would be “too racy” for viewers.
“Cheryl wants this performance to be remembered and it will be,” insiders told The Sun.
Well, looks like Cheryl got her wish – although, maybe not for the right reason.
Online hate aside – we’re just delighted to see Chezza back.
