Dublin cinema Omniplex Rathmines has said that it will be open only on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays during October.
The popular multiplex announced the closure dates to MyOmniPass members in a statement, explaining that they were due to extensive renovation works aimed at upgrading the movie house.
"We wanted to let you know that Omniplex Rathmines will be functioning at a reduced screen capacity over the coming months, as starting this week, we're upgrading Omniplex Rathmines to a whole new level of cinema," the email to subscribers reads.
"On your next visit, you'll notice a big difference in our foyer and customer flow. We have also started work on our new MAXX recline screens.
"These renovations will include closure dates in the month of October to allow for extensive renovation works as we continue to invest and enhance your cinema experience."
The multiplex also shared images of what its screens should look like after the upgrade.
