Blind Date is back.
As you may have heard, the
popular dating show is making a comeback and of course, there are major discussions about who will front the programme.
Although it will be extremely difficult for anyone to fill Cilla Black's boots, there are a few famous names tipped for the job.
Vicky Pattison, Olly Murs, and Georgia May Foote have been rumoured as potential presenters but it looks like they could have competition in the form of actress Catherine Tyldesley.
Corrie viewers would be delighted with this choice
According to
The Daily Star, Catherine, who plays Eva Price on
Coronation Street, has been involved in talks with Channel 5 producers about the much-coveted job.
It's thought that the programme will air on Friday nights and there will be six to eight episodes in the new series.
The new presenter has a lot to live up to...
Channel 5 has not yet commented on the reports but don't worry, we will provide updates in due course.
