It's one of the most anticipated soap storylines this year and some viewers think they've cracked it.

When both Shayne Ward and Catherine Tyldesley (who play Aidan Connor and Eva Price) announced they'll be leaving Coronation Street later this year we were obviously gutted but still intrigued to see how they'll make their exit. The couple had a rollercoaster year last year with Aidan admitting to Eva hours before their wedding that he'd been having an affair with Maria. Since then, Eva's managed to secretly get herself pregnant with Aidan's child and he's offered to donate a kidney to his sister Carla. After almost aborting the pregnancy, Eva's decided to have it but give it to Toyah Battersby, who's struggled with having a baby of her own. Many viewers seem to reckon that Eva will let Toyah down at the last minute, tell Aidan the truth and run off with him and the baby.

It sounds pretty likely, doesn't it? There could be more to it, though - we have been promised an 'explosive' exit, after all. "Nobody will see this coming," a source said of Aidan's departure. "Viewers are going to be absolutely stunned. It’s going to be a blow for the fans — but also a massive TV moment." We're buzzing to see where this goes.
