Corrie’s Nick Tilsley left stunned after being faced with someone from his past

Keeley Ryan

This is going to make things awkward.

Coronation Street’s Nick Tilsley is going to find himself (possibly) in hot water next week as he comes face-to-face with an unwelcome visitor.

The businessman has been keeping quiet about how he was actually the one who stole the inheritance money from his grandmother, Audrey Roberts, towards the start of the year.

Mostly as everyone is still convinced it was actually Lewis Archer who was trying to scam Audrey.

To complete the con and snag the £80,000 for himself, Nick had an assistant named Natalie, a waitress from his restaurant in Nottingham.

Wearing a disguise, she withdrew Audrey’s money from a number of different cash points – and later told Nick he’d have to pay for her silence.

In scenes set to air next week, Nick and David are going to experience some issues after the launch of their new barber shop (which they set up with their grandmother’s money).

David soon finds himself struggling with the workload, so his mum, Gail, offers up a candidate for a new member of staff.

Which normally would be a good thing.

However, preview photos released by Coronation Street have revealed who Gail have brought in: Natalie.

But what is she really doing back in Weatherfield?

With the factory collapse on the horizon, and Nick one of the main suspects – could she be about to expose the truth about him to everyone?
