Dancing with the Stars celeb slammed over ‘lazy’ people comments

Model and TV personality Joanna Krupa came under fire after the comments she made on Instagram.

The 38-year-old Polish-American, who is also known for her human and animal rights activism, shared a picture of herself gracing the cover of be active magazine.

With this fitness pic showcasing her toned physique she said;

“There is absolutely no excuse to not staying fit and healthy at any age! Motivation and drive is the key.

“I maintain a diet of 2000 calories a day no matter if I work out that day or not. I make sure to workout 2-5 times a week depending on my schedule.

“If you love yourself you will find the determination within yourself to get off the sofa and make a change in your life and not judge others that do.”

Indeed, there are many situations where being fit and healthy is absolutely a choice, but there are also instances where people can’t or find it extremely difficult to, whether that be due to psychological or physical factors.

Well, it seems Joanna forgot to mention that part, and although there were plenty of folks congratulating her and agreeing with what she said, many Instagram users also slated her for it.

One said;

“Aren’t you lucky you don’t know the first thing about being born with a disability or an auto-immune disorder you self-important bitch. Go fuck yourself.”

… Maybe a bit harsh. Another said;

“I would exercise if I wasn’t working 12 hour shifts 5 days a week just to survive…must be nice to be rich for doing nothing of value for humanity#nobodycareswhatrichpeoplethink

Another commented;

“Not everyone is as lucky as you are. Never say there’s actually no excuse because you can’t always understand what someone else is going through. That’s just being plain ignorant. I pray at times just be able to get out of bed. I would love to have the energy and the strength to be able to work out and not be exhausted. #MuscleDisease

“Would you like to try my angina pectoris for a week? I am 46, was working out three times a week, never smoked, eating semi-healthy food, and I am not overweight… Now I can barely walk 100 yards without having to sit down for 5 minutes to recover. Enjoy your health while you have it – you never know when it will be taken from you.”

It goes to show, you never really know what the other person is going through, and awareness is key!
