Daniel Radcliffe thinks there is definitely going to be a Harry Potter reboot

Harry Potter may technically be over - for now - but fans definitely take the series very Siriusly.

With seven books, ten films and a two part play in the West End and on Broadway, it's pretty safe to say the fantasy series has some of the most devoted fans across the globe. But according to Daniel Radcliffe, it may not be too long until fans are back until the magical world of witchcraft and wizardry. Yes, that's right: the actor reckons it is only a matter of time until the beloved series is rebooted. Radcliffe was speaking to IGN to promote his new series, Miracle Workers, when he was asked about his thoughts on a possible revival of the franchise. "I’m sure there will be some other version of it; I know I’m not the last Harry Potter I’m gonna see in my lifetime - we’ve already got a few more," he said, referencing the play Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.  He continued:

"It will be interesting to see how long those films stay… it feels like there’s a sacredness around them at the moment, but that’ll go, the shine will wear off at some point,. "It’ll be interesting if they reboot them and just do the films again or do a series; I’m fascinated to watch."

He admitted that while he was a fan of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2, he really liked Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.  He said:

"I love the last one, but I also really love the fifth, which is not a lot of people's favourite, I kind of realise. "I love it because of the relationship between Harry and Sirius [Black], and you get a lot of Gary Oldman in that movie. "That was my favourite one. Probably to film as well. We had a really, really good time making that one. Five or seven, part two."
