"You can afford it, I've read how much you're getting for this AND I've read all about the entourage as well," he jibed.
The joke came after a story published yesterday claimed that Holly's "jungle entourage" was costing ITV "a fortune".
The Mirror reported that on top of what she's being paid for I'm A Celeb, the cost of bringing the mum-of-three's team of 13 and her family to Australia came in at £63,000 (over €71,000).
The report said that Holly "refused" to agree to the show until ITV promised to ensure her kids and husband Dan Baldwin could join her Down Under for the duration of the show.
She's also been assigned a private driver and security staff, plus a tutor for sons Harry (aged nine) and Chester (four) and daughter Belle (seven).
She's thought to have brought her agent, personal stylist and makeup artist from home too.
The gig is reported to have topped up Holly's ITV pay packet, which was already at a reported £2.5 million for shows including This Morning, Dancing On Ice and Celebrity Juice, by several million.
