This deleted Titanic scene will turn you into an absolute ball of emotion

Never let go Jack...

Denise Curtin

The Titanic, it gets us every time.

A classic that will truly live forever.

And now, thanks to this DVD extra clip that has resurfaced, we all of a sudden want to spend our Saturday night binge watching this film over and over again.

The forgotten clip features Rose (Kate Winslet) climbing aboard the Carpathia after it diverted its path of voyage, which was headed for Boston, to save passengers on the sinking Titanic. The Titanic took 1,500 lives when it struck an iceberg and sunk in 1912.

A tortured Mr. Ismay (Jonathan Hyde), and a worried mother, Ruth (Frances Fisher) also feature in the clip as Ruth searches the ship for Rose.

If this frantic scene won’t bring a tear to your eye, the music surely will – it has us rushing for the tissues.

Keeping the nostalgia going, check out this interview featuring a young Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio, speaking on the creation of the Titanic and ultimately, their incredible friendship which has latest the test of time.

We love the line where Kate goes “I am astonished I am even in this, I am Kate from Reading”… little did she know then, the career which lay ahead.

Those two.

Never let go Jack.
