Tonight, the last episode of the second season of Derry Girls aired.
I won’t get into it as many of you may not have had time to watch it yet.
However, I will tell you that it was announced that Derry Girls season three is in happening.
Star of the show, Nicola Coughlan, has taken to instagram to share the news.
Yeah, we’re screaming.
She wrote:
“You didn’t think we’d leave you that easy did you? Derry Girls SERIES 3 IS HAPPENING MOTHAFUCKAS!!!”

Set in the 1990s during the Troubles, Derry Girls follows a group of teens who try to grow up and “find their way” during a difficult time in Northern Ireland.
A series that will have you in love with the characters and the light-hearted tale which is surprisingly full of humour and hilarious one-liners for the era which it is set in.
It is GAS.
We’re already excited about season 3!
