This year, X Factor bosses really tried to make the judges’ houses stages more dramatic.
As well as having Simon Cowell and co pick their finalists in front of a live audience, there were also 10-second countdowns and plenty of pleading from the contestants.
Which is maybe why they weren’t paying a great deal of attention to the smaller details, like the names the judges were actually saying.
On last night’s episode of the show, Nick Grimshaw was choosing his three acts for the live shows.
After putting Mason Noise through (talk about a controversial decision), the radio host revealed that his second choice was Che Chesterman.
However we, along with many eagle-eyed viewers, noticed that his face didn’t show up on the screens beside the stage.

When Nick said that Seann was the final act to go through to the next round, it wasn’t really much of a surprise. It also undermines the claim that the judges are picking the acts there and then.
The judges’ houses stage of this year’s competition has been met with a great deal of criticism and ratings for the show are said to be falling even further.
