Disney has announced that it will be setting up its own streaming service.

The service is believed to be coming on stream at the end of 2019.

The announcement follows the news that ESPN, the US sports network that Disney owns, will launch a streaming service in 2018.

Other TV networks owned by Disney include ABC, Nickelodeon and the History Channel, so we should be able to expect a wide offering from its streaming service.

News broke in the US overnight that Disney would be pulling its titles from Netflix in 2019 as a result of this, but a representative for Netflix in Ireland has put our fears to rest.

She said that Disney’s announcement only affects the US as the films that are licensed there are different to here.

Disney titles currently available on Netflix Ireland include its live-action Cinderella, Ant-Man, Into The Woods, and Avengers: Age of Ultron, as well as number of kids’ movies will also be lost, such as those from the Airbuds series.
