She’s back, baby!
We’ve been missing our nightly dose of Doireann Garrihy and Martin Guilfoyle on Spin 1038’s The Zoo Crew so we’re thrilled with the news that she’ll be on the airwaves again this weekend.
We’re getting four whole hours of Doireann on Saturday afternoon – but not on Spin.
She’s set to guest host a slot on sister station Today FM from 2pm to 6pm.
It’ll be the influencer’s first ever time hosting on the national airwaves solo but it doesn’t look like she’s any bit nervous about it.
“I’m so excited to be joining the Today FM family this weekend,” she said.
“I’ve been hovering at their door for the past few years, so to finally be taking to the airwaves is a dream come true.”
Today FM is also pretty excited to have her on board, with Programme Director Adelle Nolan saying, “When you have this kind of talent on your doorstep, you must give her a show!”
Doireann and her on-air other half Marty announced last month that they were leaving their show.
“After a year and a half of having the absolute craic and calling it work, it’s time for a Zoo Crew mic drop,” she wrote on Instagram, announcing the news.
Marty has gone on to host late-night show Spin Xtra on the station.
