Doireann Garrihy will be co-hosting a seriously massive show on RTE this autumn in what is probably the biggest throwback since B*Witched announced that they were recording new music.
Well, not that much of a throwback but it’s been a few years since this programme has been on our tellies and we’re excited OK?
Today as part of their new season announcement, RTE revealed that Doireann will be co-hosting none-other than The Podge and Rodge Show when it makes its comeback later this year.

Doireann told RTE that she was “delighted” to be a part of the show.
She said:
“It’s coming back and I am hosting alongside Podge and Rodge, I can’t believe it, I’m still pinching myself.
“I’m so delighted to be involved.”
The social media star said that when she auditioned for the role, she knew she would have been “gutted” if she didn’t get it.
Lucky for her though (and for us), she did. And, naturally, the lads are most likely going to be a crude, vulgar, and hilarious as ever.
Doireann said: “They are yeah, even more so, they’ve come back with a bang, more vulgarity. I think I’m able to handle them – hopefully.”
