Donal Skehan had an absolute nightmare on Saturday Kitchen

It happens to the best of us.

Donal Skehan is a big hit on Saturday Kitchen and has grown quite the fan base but today's show proved to be quite dramatic when he sliced his finger open while chopping herbs. Guest chef Jun Tanaka was prepping the fish while Donal chatted away only to let out a sudden yelp of pain after cutting his finger with a knife. Although he appeared a little flustered, you have to give credit to the Dublin native for continuing on after grabbing a tea towel as a makeshift bandage, although Julian Clary did step in to offer help. Viewers were impressed with how the chef dealt with the situation and expressed their thoughts on Twitter.

Donal has since reassured everyone he's absolutely grand with posts shared to his Twitter and Instagram accounts.
