Now, however, it appears that the two have only gone and made up.
Josh took to Twitter to share a photo of the pair hugging it out at the VMAs with the caption "Hug me" as a clear allusion to the "hug me, brother!" quote that was a frequent occurrence in the show.

The tweet received over 130,000 retweets and almost 370,000 favs online.
Fans were not quiet in expressing their delight that the pair had reconciled.
One user said she wasn't crying, she was just "sweating from her eyes."
Another said that they couldn't believe it and included a picture of Josh sweating profusely.

But the delight didn't stop there.
Drake then took to his own social media to share a live vid of the two hanging out.

The two have been busy enough since their time on Nickelodeon ended.
While Josh was off tieing the knot and starring in comedy series' like Grandfathered, Drake made some music and was served a couple of DUIs.
The actor and musician was also harshly criticised for misgendering of Caitlyn Jenner after the reality star came out as transgender.
He is currently voice-acting in animated series Highly Gifted.
