Carl Mullan and Emily Barker were crowned winners of Dancing with the Stars last night and viewers are overjoyed by the result.
The presenter and his professional dance partner were stunned when they were announced as the winners of this year's show.
They beat Suzanne Jackson, Brooke Scullion, and Damian McGinty.
Carl praised his family for being there for him throughout the entire experience.
He also gushed about professional dancer Emily Barker.
"Ais has been such a rock. My whole family.
Carl continued, "Thank you so much for all the love and support online and in the streets."
"Emily, I'm so buzzing we won this for you. You deserve this," he added.
Emily confirmed she waited six seasons to lift the glitterball trophy.
"This is a dream. I’ve waited so long for this moment. Six seasons.
She continued, "Carl has been a dream to work with."
Viewers were just as thrilled as the duo.
One wrote, "Well-done @carlmullan honestly always come across as a sweetheart who just wanted to have fun and make people enjoy watching. so happy for you and Emily."
