It all begins when Lachlan reaches his breaking point over some threatening texts he has been receiving recently, according to Metro.
After spotting her on her phone, he becomes convince that Liv Flaherty is the one behind the messages - and vows to do something about it.
In the Mill, he messes with the carbon monoxide detector and then causes a leak, intending for both Liv and Robert Sugden to die.
But when he realises that baby Seb is in the cottage, he races over to try and save him - only to be confronted by a bleary Liv.
He pushes her out of the way and she hits her head, leaving her looking lifeless on the floor. And, with both Liv and Robert unconscious, Lachlan becomes convinced that he has done what he needed to do.
He leaves the cottage...just in time for Rebecca to suddenly turn up, questioning him on what has happened.
Metro reports that he is later seen holding a bloody spanner as he closes the boot of his car.
Uh oh.
