An Emmerdale star is joining Corrie as Michelle’s son and it’s all gonna kick off

With all the Phelan stuff winding down, it only makes sense that Coronation Street producers decided they had to introduce another character to spice things up. This time he isn't a crazed murdered who just won't give up though and to be honest, I think everybody will be grateful for that. This time, it's former Emmerdale star Ryan Prescott who will be showing up on the cobbles to cause a bit of hassle. Prescott played Flynn Buchanan in the Dale, but now he's heading to Weatherfield as Michelle Connor's 'son.' ... Except he's not really her son at all because he was switched at birth but sure look, he's here anyway so we may as well just get on with it. The first photos of Prescott, who will be playing Ryan, causing havoc on the street were released this week and it definitely seems like things are going to kick off ASAP. Ryan can be seen having a slightly run in with Michelle's husband-to-be Rob who's being egged on by Adam Barlow to tell the lad not to get involved. We can probably go ahead and assume, however, that Ryan will not be listening. Ryan was previously plated by actor Sol Heras before the character left the soap in 2013 to go become a DJ in Ibiza. Bit of a change of scene but what can you do? Ryan will be making his reappearance later this month.
