Emmerdale star Joe Gill has spoken out about an upcoming storyline in which somebody tries to kill him.
The actor, who plays Finn Barton in the soap, is befriended by newcomer Brad next week but not all is as it seems. After spiking his drink, Brad kidnaps Finn and leaves him in a car with the engine running before fleeing.
Speaking about it, Joe told Digital Spy: “When this guy Brad comes in, he seems to have similar interests in Finn, as Brad says he is interested in Japan and travelling. Finn really warms to his guy because there’s not many people who share similar interests to him in the village”.
He added: “He hasn’t got a clue that Brad is a bad guy. Finn isn’t sure of Brad’s sexuality, but he is sexually attracted to him as well. He fancies him”.
Thankfully, Finn is rescued by Cain and Pete. He is then rushed to hospital where he is treated for carbon monoxide poisoning but the drama doesn’t end there as his brothers vow to get revenge (despite the fact that Finn later wakes up).
The scenes will be aired next week.
