A Eurovision spin-off is in the works and we’re far too excited

TWO Eurovisions!

Another Eurovision? Don’t tease us.

We don’t even think it’s a guilty pleasure, we just love Eurovision.

From the ridiculous acts to the OTT costumes, the whole night is pure entertainment from beginning to end and we could be about to get the second installment.

Many viewers complained when Australia joined the ranks and asked why there wasn’t another show for other countries who were interested.

Well, their prayers have been answered as bosses have confirmed they are in the early stages of planning a spin-off contest for the United States.

The US gay TV channel Logo hint that a full spin-off is in the works and we’re very excited about it.

“When it comes to the US, we also have a deal there with the broadcaster Viacom to broadcast the Eurovision in the US,” said the competition’s executive supervisor, Jon Ola Sand.

“We also want to see if it’s possible to create an American version of the Eurovision Song Contest, although we haven’t concluded that yet.

“This is a long term strategy for sure to see how far outside of Europe the brand can reach.”

We’ll have to start planning our Amerivision party now.
