After 10 years David Attenborough is back with a follow up to Planet Earth.

We knew we would be in for a treat if it was any bit like the first series but judging by last night's show it's sure to be the best series yet. It kicked off on the BBC for the first of six episodes. That's five less than we had when the first series aired in 2006 but we're not going to complain. We'll take whatever we can get. It seemed like everyone was watching it last night if Twitter was anything to go by. The programme is still trending almost 12 hours since it aired. By far the one animal who stole the show was the sloth who went for a casual swim to find a mate. Here's what people had to say:
