Here is everything you need to know about winter Love Island

Keeley Ryan

It won’t be much longer until Love Island is back.

In case you haven’t heard, Love Island is going to be back on our telly screens in a few weeks – this time, for a winter series.

Yes, in just a few short weeks we’re going to be back in a new villa, watching a new bunch of singletons have countless conversations about cracking on, uncoupling, recouping and putting all your eggs in someone’s basket.

And we are more than ready for it to keep us entertained in the cold and wintry weeks ahead.

Here’s everything you need to know about winter Love Island.

When does it start?

There has been no official start date confirmed just yet, however Winter Love Island is expected to kick off on January 8, 2020.

The series is expected to be six weeks long, making it a bit shorter than its summer counterpart.

Who is in it?

Much like the start date, there has been no official confirmation of who will be arriving in the villa when winter Love Island begins.

Which makes sense, since the application process only closed on November 30.

However, we do know that Caroline Flack will be back to try and help the Islanders find love – and Iain Stirling will be providing the voice over for the series once again.

To be honest, we can’t imagine it without them.

Where is it going to be?

Things are going to be looking a bit different this time around, as the winter Love Island villa is in Cape Town rather than the usual Majorca.

Is there a trailer for winter Love Island?

Only a teaser trailer at the moment – and it’s quite short.

The footage was unveiled during an ad break on I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! on December 2.
