It's set to be a long and lonely Christmas on Coronation Street for poor Roy Cropper, as his young tormentors are set to return.
One of the actors who starred in scenes where Roy's flat was broken into earlier this month has confirmed that he is set to return for Christmas episodes of the Manchester soap.
Michael Hindley, 21, said "I've been sworn to secrecy about my character and the storyline, but there has been character development and it's really amazing to be a part of it."
The news comes after Corrie producer Stuart Blackburn told fans that Roy's storyline will "explode" in the coming months.
It's been a rough ride for Roy this year, with things going from bad to worse since the tragic death of his wife Hayley back in January.
