It may not be one of the deepest movies we’ve even seen but Magic Mike has shot straight to the top of our must-have DVD list.
Luckily, the beautiful Channing Tatum has confirmed that most of the original cast are expected to return for the sequel and also revealed that the movie will follow the group of strippers as they are reunited for a road trip. It’s believed that the working title for the movie is Magic Mike: XXL and it will be released in the US in July 2015, with Greg Jacobs taking over from retired director Steven Soderberg.
“We don’t want to make it some serious slice-of life movie. We want to have real, like, reality in it, but we don’t want to make some dark drama,” said writer and star Tatum recently.
“We want there to be a s***ton of fun. A s***ton of ridiculous stuff that you would never see in a movie, on the face of the earth, ever again.”
