Fetch Might Not Have Happened But Mean Girls The Musical IS!

Yes it’s happening and yes we are VERY excited to hear that Mean Girls the musical is actually happening.

That’s right Regina and co are headed for the stage according to reports this morning. And we suspect that it's going to be fierce!

 

The film starred Rachel McAdams, Amanda Seyfried and Lindsay Lohan.

Tina Fey, who played Ms Norbury in the film, is in the early stages of production on the show.

Her hubby Jeff Richmond who is working on songs for it revealed: “It’s actually becoming a real thing!”

 

Tina Fey is helping to bring the comedy to the stage.

The only downside is that he added it might take a while to come to fruition: “It’s a long process – a year, two years, however long it might take.”

Aah well, we always knew that good things come to those who wait… unless of course you’re standing in the middle of the road and a bus comes along (that happens in the film for those of you who haven’t seen it - we're not just crazy).
