Filming for final season of Killing Eve has already started

The wait is finally over… almost.

We can finally sit down, grab the popcorn and start celebrating because season four of Killing Eve is on the way.

While it may be a while yet before it hits our screens, Jodie Comer has confirmed that the show started back filming yesterday.

Chatting to reporters on the Bafta red carpet on Sunday evening, Jodie revealed that she was back to the set and ready to start filming the final series.

She said: “Tomorrow! Yes… don’t worry I’ve pre-ordered my taxi, I’m not gonna’ be hungover, I’ll be very sensible.”

Season 4 of the hit BBC show was announced way back in January 2020 – we just can’t believe we’ve been waiting this long for it.

BBC also confirmed that this season would be the last that we ever see the drama fresh on our screens.

It is looking like there will be eight-episode overall, and we should expect to seem them airing sometime next year.

And like usual, the States will get it first, with the UK and Ireland getting their viewing a few weeks later.

With the long anticipated return of this show, we’ve never wanted to see Sandra Oh and Jodie Comer more.

But it may not be the end for this fan favourite duo as a number of spin off shows have been rumoured since it was announced that the show was ending.

Jodie recently told Tyla: “I just had so much fun. I’ve been in such strange funny situations and I’ve met some amazing people, I think that’s what I’ll miss the most. I’m interested to see where series 4 goes.”

“I think I learned on this job [that] as long as there is truth in what you are saying, acting can be big and it can be bold and it can be in your face and it can be a bit ugly. It can be all these different things.”
