BBC also confirmed that this season would be the last that we ever see the drama fresh on our screens.
It is looking like there will be eight-episode overall, and we should expect to seem them airing sometime next year.
And like usual, the States will get it first, with the UK and Ireland getting their viewing a few weeks later.
With the long anticipated return of this show, we've never wanted to see Sandra Oh and Jodie Comer more.
But it may not be the end for this fan favourite duo as a number of spin off shows have been rumoured since it was announced that the show was ending.
Jodie recently told Tyla: "I just had so much fun. I've been in such strange funny situations and I've met some amazing people, I think that's what I'll miss the most. I'm interested to see where series 4 goes."
