FINALLY!
At long last, we get to see Emily Blunt as Mary Poppins. She plays the lead role in the sequel to the popular movie. It’s not due out until December 2018 but it hasn’t stopped people from getting very excited.
The first image of Emily shows her in the classic Mary Poppins coat, hat and holding her magic bag.
She’s just perfect.
We also get to see Lin-Manuel Miranda’s character Jack.
Mary Poppins Returns will be set 20 years after the original movie where Mary has to return to the Banks’ household once more to help them through a family tragedy.
It stars Meryl Streep, Angela Lansbury, Colin Farrell and Lin-Manuel Miranda and will also see Dick Van Dyke in a minor role.
Roll on Christmas 2018.
