However, it’s the shows leading ladies who are giving us our first looks behind the scenes as the pair took to Instagram to share pictures from their first day filming the crossover event.
In a courtroom known well to Annalise Keating, Kerry Washington sat waiting to film scenes for the upcoming epsiode.
Later Viola Davis shared her own picture from inside the oval office, telling Kerry Washington to guess where she is.
The pictures sent fans into a frenzy and the behind-the-scenes look didn’t end there.
Kerry also shared a snap from the first table read for the episode and managed to sneak in a selfie with Viola for good measure.
The episode will air as part of Scandal’s final season which is due to return to US TV on January 18.
