Season three of Killing Eve is coming and the excitement is real

Keeley Ryan

The first teaser for season three of Killing Eve is here and the excitement is real.

BBC America dropped the teaser on Valentine’s Day, confirming that the new season will begin at 10pm on Sunday, April 26...for fans in North America. Much like previous seasons, Irish fans are going to have to wait a little while afterwards.

For example, Season 1 aired in the US on 8 April 2018 but it wasn’t shown by the BBC in the UK until September 2018. With regards to Season 2, it premiered in April 2019 in the US, but was released in its entirety on BBC iPlayer on 8 June 2019, with its first episode being shown on BBC One the same day.

So, like we said, it’s like to be a few more months for everyone here. But either way, the latest trailer has us seriously excited.

“The third season continues the story of two women with brutal pasts, addicted to each other but now trying desperately to live their lives without their drug of choice,” according to a synopsis from BBC America.

“For Villanelle, the assassin without a job, Eve is dead. For Eve, the ex-MI6 operative hiding in plain sight, Villanelle will never find her. All seems fine until a shocking and personal death sets them on a collision course yet again.

“The journey back to each other will cost both of them friends, family, and allegiances … and perhaps a share of their souls.”

You can watch the teaser – which, we’re just going to warn you, doesn’t really give too much away – below.
