Many nights sleep were lost back in 1999 when the first movie of The Mummy franchise was released. It had two follow up movies in 2001 and 2008 but next year will see a new generation of the series with a new leading man.
Tom Cruise has been drafted in to star in the reboot starring alongside Russell Crowe, Annabelle Wallis (Peaky Blinders) and Sofia Boutella (Kingsman: The Secret Service, Star Trek Beyond).
The story centres around an ancient princess (Sofia) who is awakened in the present day and brings terror to London.
A trailer for the movie has just been released and shows a very different approach with hints of Tom Cruise's Mission Impossible stunts being introduced.
If this trailer is anything to go by we'll be at the edge of our seats for the entire movie.
