Some brilliant new titles have just landed on Netflix, so be prepared to binge your way through the weekend.

Also included in our suggestions for what to watch this weekend, is a crime documentary series that landed recently and will be perfect for fans of Making A Murderer.

Girlboss

Girlboss, which is based on Sophia Amoruso’s autobiography #GirlBoss, has just arrived on Netflix.

The series centers on Sophia (Britt Robertson), who began selling vintage clothes on eBay and, by the age of 28, had built the multi-million dollar fashion empire, Nasty Gal.

The series is produced by Charlize Theron and Sophia herself, and stars Britt Robertson (Sophia), Ellie Reed (Annie), Alphonso McAuley (Dax), Johnny Simmons (Shane) and Dean Norris (Jay).

Sandcastle

After the invasion of Iraq in 2003, a reluctant soldier’s platoon is dispatched on a dangerous mission to repair a hostile village’s water system.

It stars Nicholas Hoult, Logan Marshall-Green, Henry Cavill, Glen Powell, Neil Brown Jr, Beau Knapp, Sammy Sheik and Gonzalo Menendez.

Hot Girls Wanted

Hot Girls Wanted is a six-part original documentary series that reveals how the intersection of sex, technology and intimate relationships is rewiring us in fundamental ways.

Shadow of Truth

If you liked Making A Murderer then you will love this series. Shadow of Truth came to Netflix last month but if you haven’t watched it already, then make time this weekend.

It’s a four-part, true crime documentary about the murder of 13-year-old, Tair Rada, at her high school in Israel.

A Ukrainian immigrant, Roman Zadorov, who had worked in her school, was arrested by police and he eventually confessed to the murder. However, the documentary goes through his interrogation under police custody and puts a doubt on his confession.
