“Clear conscience.”

Last night’s Aftersun was an opportunity for Love Island fans to see what the show’s contestants have been up to since leaving the villa and in fairness to Caroline Flack, she didn’t pull any punches.

The host chatted to a number of the show’s couples including Frankie and Samira.

Things looked rocky for the pair after it was rumoured that Frankie cheated on Samira the day before he was reunited with her outside the villa last month and Caroline asked him to “clear up” the rumours.

Frankie simply said he and Samira had “dealt with it” as a couple.

“There’s been stuff in the papers, yeah… what’s come out in the papers, we’ve dealt with it,” he told her.

“It’s a very small part of what me and Sam have done since we’ve come out. Clear conscience.”

Samira admitted that the situation had been tough.

“Yeah, obviously it’s been a bit difficult. But positive now – and it’s good and it’s fine!,” she said.

Frankie previously admitted that he had spent the night with a woman he met in a nightclub but said nothing happened.

“We met at a nightclub, we went out. The biggest mistake for me and this is what me and Samira have spoken about and I had to apologise about is that I was in the same room as those two,” Frankie said in a an interview on talkRADIO.

“This is a real relationship. We are boyfriend and girlfriend and we are in a relationship,” he continued.

“It’s a big wake-up call for me, it’s a big learning curve. I can’t put myself in that situation ever again.”
