Gal Gadot has apparently threatened to walk away from the Wonder Woman sequel.

Reports have stated that Gadot will not sign on for the DC superhero sequel unless producer and director Brett Ratner has nothing to do with the film.

Ratner was accused of sexual harassment by six women including Olivia Munn late last month.

The alleged incidents occurred in the ’90s and mid-2000s and involved Ratner allegedly asking Munn if he could masturbate in front of her in his set trailer.

Page Six has reported that Wonder Woman star Gadot does not want Ratner to continue to benefit financially from the success of the franchise.

The actress has also reportedly said that she won’t “sign on” for the sequel unless Ratner is bought out.

A source told the publication:

“Brett made a lot of money from the success of Wonder Woman thanks to his company having helped finance the first movie.

“Now, Gadot is saying she won’t sign for the sequel unless Warner Bros. buys Brett out and gets rid of him.”

The source also said that Gadot apparently knows that Warner Bros. will take her side on the issue.

“She’s tough and stands by her principles. She also knows the best way to hit people like Brett Ratner is in the wallet.

“She also knows that Warner Bros. has to side with her on this issue as it develops. They can’t have a movie rooted in women’s empowerment being part-financed by a man accused of sexual misconduct against women.”

Gadot was due to present Ratner with an award last month at a dinner honouring his work.

She later backed out of the event.

Page Six has said that a representative for Warner Bros. has called the story “false.”
