Westeros should be a plastic-free zone.
It’s over, it’s done, we did it, guys.
Or at least, those of us who have already watched the last episode of the final season of the show have.
Well done to us.
Game of Thrones is finally finished, and with it ends an era of hyping up Jon, wishing Sansa the best, and hoping that Bran would ever just chill out.
It also ends the very fun game of Spot The Liquid Container On Set That Absolutely Should Not Be There.
This season, we’ve already been treated to a glimpse of a Starbucks cup next to Emilia Clarke as she considers the ramifications of the Battle of Winterfell.
And now, after last night’s (or tonight’s, whichever) final episode, there’s another reason for fans to play the this-season-is-shite card – because a bottle of water was left in one of the scenes, and there ain’t no plastic in Westeros.
The bottle in question was spotted during last night’s finale behind Samwell Tarly’s foot.
The plastic bottle was positioned just behind the character’s leg, barely visible, and yet entirely noticeable to fans who spend their time scouring scenes for evidence of real-life existence.
Or just, you know, watching the show.
Here it is.

Not much else to say about it really.
Last night’s finale (or tonight’s, whichever) led to much debate among fans who couldn’t decide whether it was totally garbage or satisfying enough.
No spoilers, but whatever you’re thinking, it’s probably not that.
