A great way to help those working in entertainment.

Due to Covid related restrictions many events across the country from festivals to gigs have been cancelled this year.

This has had a negative knock on event for the staff that would usually work at these events.

To help raise funds for stage crew who have been left without work due to Covid, Irish musician Gavin James will be holding a virtual concert this Friday that can be viewed globally!

The exclusive live stream this Friday evening gives music lovers the chance to donate to the live event industry, which is made up of sound and lighting engineers, technicians, videographers and many more, who have seen a detrimental impact on their work due to the Covid-19 crisis.

“I had an amazing team of musicians, sound & lighting engineers, technicians, videographers, directors, manufactures, pyrotechnics, editors, designers who made my live stream happen last week,” said Gavin.

“So to celebrate and highlight their work and the live music industry, we will broadcast a 45min set of the concert for free but if fans would like to donate to live event industry they can via gofund.me.”

After reaching number one in Ireland last week and hosting one of the most successful livestream concerts with thousands of viewers at the beginning of the month, Gavin James will take his concert to the virtual stage again, but this time via YouTube, this Friday 16th October at 8pm.

You can watch the livestream later today (for 24 hours) by visiting www.youtube.com/c/gavinjamesofficial.
