Gogglebox Ireland has added yet another family and this time they’re from Galway.
They’ll join the likes of the Tully brothers from Cavan and the Ryans from Limerick to recap some of the TV highlights from the previous week.
The new household are the Gibbons-Coyle family from Moycullen in Galway.
The family consists of Eileen and Chris and their daughters Hannah and Ciara. The family describe themselves as ‘very dramatic, energetic, honest, liberal and they love to laugh’.
They enjoy watching Friends, Modern Family, I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here, 24 Hours in A&E together, along with their dog Buddy. Dad Chris secretly watches Keeping Up With The Kardashians with his girls, Hannah is a sucker for MTV while mum Eileen prefers gardening and food shows.
Hannah is a newly qualified primary school teacher, who’s just finished her postgrad and is resource teaching in the primary school she attended herself.
Ciara, the youngest, has just finished her undergrad in Philosophy and Psychology in NUIG in Galway and is hoping to do an MA in Psychology. She is currently working as a hostess in Supermacs in Galway, much to the jealousy of her kitchen colleagues.
Chris works for the Department of Defence. He’s an expert on Irish celebrities, shocking his female counterparts with his knowledge. And Eileen teaches drama at the Blue Teapot Theatre Company and also dabbles in playwriting.
