‘Forever my lobster’ Gogglebox Ireland’s Dawn and Dale announce their engagement

Dawn and Dale, of Gogglebox Ireland fame, have announced their engagement.

The happy couple shared the news on Instagram this evening and fans couldn't be happier for them. Dawn asked Dale to be her wife last Monday while they were on a romantic break in Connemara and she said yes. They waited until today to tell the world and since then, the well-wishes and congratulatory messages have been pouring in. Thanks to their hilarious chats each week, both Dawn and Dale have earned themselves an army of fans since they first appeared on the popular TV show. In the Instagram caption, Dawn said:

"Dale is stuck with me now and I couldn't be happier. Still in shock mode but it’s the best feeling to know I’m going to marry my best friend!"

Dale spoke of how delighted she was that Dawn had asked her dad and said that "never in a million years did she think she could be this happy". Awwwwww! The Cork couple met eight years ago and have been a huge hit on the 2019 series of Gogglebox Ireland. The final episode of the current series airs tomorrow night at 9 pm on Virgin Media One and you won't want to miss it. Huge congratulations to Dawn and Dale!
