The Greatest Showman is coming back to some Irish cinemas this week

Keeley Ryan

Ladies and gents, this is the moment you’ve waited for.

The Greatest Showman is set to return to a number of cinemas across Ireland for one week only.

The so-catchy-you-can’t-help-but-sing-along musical was originally released around Christmas 2017, before it went on to get nominated at the Oscars – and just became an all-around box office hit.

After its release in December, the movie made more than €1 million every week until March – and more than €435 million to date and held tough in box offices around the globe well into April and May.

Which is why we were particularly excited to find out that the movie will Come Alive on the big screen once again – with Omniplex bringing it back as one of their Christmassy movies this year.

The screenings begin at Omniplex cinemas throughout Ireland on Friday, November 23.

The festive edition of Omniplex’s #BringItBack series will continue with Home Alone [beginning December 23], Elf [beginning December 14] and Die Hard [beginning December 7].

Although you’ll have to be quick if you want to be watching the Christmas classics on the big screen: last year, the festive #BringItBack sold out super quickly, so pre-booking is advised

Tickets are priced at €8 and advanced booking is recommended at www.omniplex.ie.
