So this is why we hardly see Kylie Jenner in the new KUWTK trailer

Yesterday evening, the Kardashian clan released the trailer for season 16 and all we can say is woah. This highly anticipated season is set to cover the Jordyn, Tristan and Khloe ordeal - which saw Khloe Kardashian's baby daddy, Tristan Thompson cheat on the star with Kylie Jenner's best friend, Jordyn Woods. The scandal caused the pair to split up and in the trailer, we can hear Khloe heartbreakingly say:

"This isn't just a TV show, this is my life!"

And in a similar vein, it looks like Kylie Jenner decided to back out of filming for part of the series following the scandal involving Jordyn. According to sources who spoke to US Weekly, Kylie took a step back to process what was going on away from the public eye. Fair.

"Kylie took a little break from filming Keeping Up With the Kardashians and recently got back into filming… it’s been a struggle and difficult."

Continuing they said:

"She was very upset about the situation with Jordyn and just didn’t want to deal with it and have to address it."

In the trailer, we briefly see Kylie twice, once on set of a photo shoot and then again at a family dinner where they're toasting to Jordyn. You can watch it in full here.
