Here’s how to apply to be in The Late Late Toy Show’s virtual audience

Jade Hayden

Virtual audience will still be as fun… right?

Right?! And even if it isn’t, it’s the only option we’ve got this years lads, so we may as well just get on with it.

Covid-19 is changing Christmas this year – and not for the better. Gone are the nights in packed pubs, nevermore are the office parties, and you can say goodbye to bragging about how well you’re doing up in Dublin in a room full of people you dislike on Stephen’s Night.

But hey, maybe the loss of those things won’t be so bad. It will give us more opportunity to focus on the things that truly matter, like family, the baby Jesus, and the Late Late Toy Show.

Because yes, this year’s Toy Show is still going ahead. And yes, you could still be an audience member.

Just a virtual one. But listen, we’ll take what we can get.

RTÉ have just opened their applications for this year’s Late Late Toy Show audience. Naturally, there will be no studio audience this time around, but folks will still be able to join Ryan for a night of festive fun from the comfort of their own homes.

This year, the Toy Show is looking for families to join them remotely. If you and your family would like to be in with the chance at nabbing a few virtual tickets, all you need to do is fill out this application form and explain why you’d like the chance to appear on the night.

You’ll also need yo detail what your one Christmas wish this year would be. Make your answer as soppy as possible, you know yourself.

You’ll also need to be tech savvy and have a high quality camera in your home, for obvious reasons.

The closing date for applications is Friday, October 23, so if you want to be in with a chance of appearing via video link on the most exciting show of the year, you know what to do. Apply here. You’re welcome.
