Here’s everything we know about season 2 of Killing Eve

Olivia Hayes

It’s coming baaack.

Killing Eve, the thrilling crime drama starring Sandra Oh and Jodie Comer was a total hit in 2018. Week after week the BBC America show grew its ratings and was critically acclaimed for its plot twists and dark humour.

Since the first season of the show ended in a huge cliff hanger we’ve all been dying for it to come back onto our screens; and it seems we won’t have to wait long as season two has been confirmed to debut on April 7.

A trailer for the new season was released during the week and while it’s short, but good. It shows Eve pushing back her long, dark hair – which, fans will know is one of the reason Villanelle is so obsessed with her.

“Why are you and Villanelle so interested in each other? What really happened in Paris?” asks Fiona Shaw’s Carolyn in a voiceover.

Gripping. We even have a little insight into what the second season will entail. A press release about the show said: “Beginning just after the end of the final episode of season one, Villanelle has disappeared, and Eve is left reeling, having no idea if the woman she stabbed is alive or dead.

“With both of them in deep trouble, Eve has to find Villanelle before someone else does…but unfortunately, she’s not the only person looking for her.”

We can’t wait.
