No, it’s not Game of Thrones.

If you’re a human being who likes television, chances are you might like a good character death or too as well.

Or you might prefer wholesome content where nobody dies ever and all the people are delighted and live happily ever after for the entirety of their existences.

These shows are unrealistic though and we do not approve. Each to their own, and all.

If you are into a bit of casual death entertainment wise though, you’ll be ecstatic to find out that a comprehensive list of TV shows with the most character deaths has been released and Game of Thrones actually isn’t number one.

Nah, it’s actually Black Mirror.

The guys over at Music Magpie have crunched the numbers and figured out that the Channel 4/Netflix dystopian anthology series has killed a massive 387,063 characters since its beginning.

Honestly, like. How?

Well, most of that is thanks to one episode really – season three’s ‘Hated In The Nation’ where almost 400,000 people across Britain are murdered by drone bees.

Harrowing.

Games of Thrones does come in second place though boasting 173,373 deaths over the course of its seven seasons, with Humans coming in third with a death count of over 100k.

Loads, in fairness.
Also included on the list are 24, NCIS, The Vampire Diaries, Breaking Bad, and True Blood.
You can view the full breakdown here.
