New season, new television programmes.

July saw Netflix bring out some top shows, like BoJack Horseman and Stranger Things, and the streaming service will be continuing its raft of top television and movie choices with plenty of smart Autumn additions.

Narcos (Season 2) – 2 September

The cult series chronicling the gripping real-life stories of the drug kingpins of the late 1980s returns for a second series.

Easy – 22 September

Written by Joe Swanberg, this series features Orlando Bloom, Malin Akerman, Jake Johnson and Dave Franco.

Haters Back Off – 14 October

Based on the character created by Colleen Ballinger-Evans, Haters Back Off delves into the life of Youtube star Miranda Sings.

Black Mirror – 21 October

Written by Charlie Brooker, Black Mirror returns as an anthology series that taps into our addiction with the modern world, with each episode a sharp, tale exploring themes of contemporary techno-paranoia.

The Crown – 4 November

The Crown tells the inside story of two of the most famous addresses in the world – Buckingham Palace and 10 Downing Street.

Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life – 25 November

Gilmore Girls: A Year In The Life includes four 90-minute sections, with each section covering one of the four seasons: Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall.

Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life is created by Amy Sherman-Palladino, who executive produces, writes and directs the four 90-minute chapters with Daniel Palladino.

XOXO – 26 August

XOXO is an ensemble, coming-of-age movie about a group of early 20-somethings on a crazy adventure to the biggest EDM festival in America, starring Sarah Hyland, Graham Phillips and Chris D’Elia.

Mascots – 13 October

Mascots is a new comedy from Christopher Guest and stars Jane Lynch, Zach Woods and Chris O’Dowd.
