You’ll be staying in, so here’s what’s new on Netflix this weekend

Jade Hayden

Staying in this weekend?

You better be.

And what’s more is you better be checking out some of Netflix’s latest offerings in a bid to curb your loneliness and boredom.

There’s plenty to keep yourself entertained, lads. You can stop watching Tiger King now.

TV shows

Too Hot To Handle – now streaming

F I N A L L Y.

The reality show that’ll make you feel grateful for your ability to have sex with whomever you please (in a pre-Covid world, that is), Too Hot To Handle is putting horniness to the test.

Shacked up on a tropical island, a load of sexy contestants are competing to win a prize of £1,000,000 – the only catch is they’re not allowed to hook up.

No kissing, no riding, no heavy petting – lest they want the prize fund to keep reducing with every slip up they make.

There’s even a Cork girl in it. Get ready.

#blackAF – now streaming

Starring Kenya Barris and Rashida Jones, #blackAF is a new comedy series all about race, parenting and everything in between.

Based on Barris’s own life experience, the sitcom is a follow on from his hit TV series, Black-ish. Worth a watch then, probably.

The assignment is supposed to be brief, until a bomb blast causes the walls of the UN headquarters to come tumbling down, setting in motion a gripping life-or-death struggle.

Betonrausch – now streaming

Charting the rise and fall of two real estate fraudsters in Germany, this feature film is all about lies, deception, and what happens when you’re caught.

Based on true events.

Stand up

Chris D’Elia: No Pain – now streaming

Stand-up comic, actor, and writer Chris D’Elia returns for his latest Netflix comedy special, in which he delves deep into the world of growling at babies, Airdrop, and being sexually assaulted by dolphins.
