‘Tis the season, after all.

It’s been a long ol’ year but we’ve finally made it, lads.

We’ve had to deal with some pretty horrible things this year – Donald Trump, an array of storms, Gaz Beadle talking about becoming a dad for probably six months straight.

It’s been tough but we got through it together.

And now today, on Tuesday, November 28, things are set to become a whole lot easier because Christmas FM is officially back on air… and everybody loves Christmas music.

Yes, everybody.

You can lie to yourself all you like but who doesn’t absolutely adore it when Mariah blasts through the airwaves, or Bono does That Bit from Do They Know It’s Christmas?, or The Darkness are played on the radio for the first time all year because of that banger of a Christmas song they released?

Starting from today, we get to experience all of that joy again.

Incredible.

Although Christmas FM has already been streaming online for a bit, this afternoon marks its official reintroduction to the Irish airwaves.

So what are you waiting for?

Christmas FM will be live on air from 1pm today at 105.2fm for Dublin listeners, 106.7fm for Cork listeners, and 87.7fm for Galway listeners.

A full list of frequencies can be found here.
