Home and Away actor Steve Peacocke has denied claims he is having an affair with co-star Bonnie Sveen, who plays his on-screen girlfriend Ricky Sharpe.
The pair are said to share “electric chemistry” and a report in Australian magazine Women’s Day this week claimed that Steve’s wife-to-be Bridgette walked out on him after finding out he and Bonnie were kissing off screen, as well as on.

Speaking to News Corp Australia, Steve said: “It’s bizarre because right now Brigette and I are sitting on the veranda at home having a cup of coffee”.
“This sort of thing annoys me. As a couple, we don’t ever chase the social scene, we’re not on social media, we’re not often in the limelight.
“We do what we have to do for work and that’s it. I’m happy to go to an event if it’s for work and I’ll say g’day to fans on the street. But we’re both very private”.
The thirty two-year-old who plays Brax on the popular soap said that images in the publication were altered to make it look as though the romantic clinch had happened in real life.

“They had pictures of Bonnie and I filming a kissing scene and they Photoshopped out my character’s tattoos to make it look like it was real life or something” continued Steve.
Bridgette, who also joined the cast of Home and Away this year as school principal Sophie Taylor, and Steve met a decade ago when they were both studying at the University of Western Sydney.
Braxton boy Steve also said that he was eager to forget about the rumours and move on, “If that’s the worst of my problems, I guess I’m pretty lucky. There are lots of people out there doing far worse than me.
“I’ve got a pretty blessed life and Bridgette and I are still very much together. Life is good.”
