Home and Away Star “Cried Buckets” Filming Final Scenes

Demi Harman, better known to Home and Away viewers as Sasha Bezmel, found filming her final scenes very emotional. According to her co-star and off-screen boyfriend Alec Snow, Demi "cried so much she was dehydrated". Speaking to The Daily Telegraph, Alec, who plays Matt Page, said that the "final scenes are a real tearjerker". Despite her sadness during filming, Demi said she was ready to leave the show after four years. Demi and Alec play on-screen couple Sasha and Matt “It needed to happen. It was time to move on, I didn’t want to be known as Sasha for the rest of my life" said Demi. The star is set to take on a presenting job with Australian TV show Better Homes and Gardens and she also said there is "big things in the pipeline" later this year. Fans of Matt will be glad to hear that Alec is planning to continue his role in Home and Away while also playing in a band called Interim.
